NT awards for The Best Entertainment News Anchor goes to Charming Charul

Charul Malik from Aaj Tak won the prestigious NT award for The Best Anchor in Entertainment space.

It’s been a journey of different kind of Charul who moved from main stream anchoring which she did successfully for 14 years before she moved to Mumbai.

Charul started anchoring entertainment shows and conducting B town interviews.

Within a time span of 1 year she has not only established herself in this new genre but also showcased a very versatile talent by able to anchor different genre of news space and has created a niche for herself which many envy in the entertainment media space.

As we know that her talent is never questioned as she has her name in Limca Book of Records for being the only anchor to do a live on show on Skates and seldom have we seen anchors who would take such risks and achieve heights which she has achieved.

Charul not only anchors her regular SBB (Saas, Bahu aur Betiyan) but also conducts most of the Bollywood interviews and often covers most entertainment events. We would want to see her more on the channel and I am sure she taken entertainment news anchoring to a new level, where many veteran’s from the industry are unable to match to the standards achieved and created by her.
