New Delhi: DT Cinemas a leading chain of multiplexes in Delhi , NCR and Chandigarh bags the Five Star Health & Management System Certification from The British Safety Council for maintaining the highest standard of safety at its cinema halls. It is the First ever Cinema Chain in the world to receive this prestigious award. The British Safety Council is a global body dedicated ensure safety of individuals , space and lives work. Their role is to help organizations achieve the very highest Health and Safety standards required by law, to protect their staff.

In today’s day and age, where security of lives is the utmost priority in all spheres, DT Cinemas is the only multiplex chain in World with the Five Star Health & Management System Certification from the British Safety Council and the only chain in India to 100 % comply with the Supreme Court’s guidelines of Safety and Security at Cinemas set after the tragedy in Uphaar cinema fifteen years earlier on 13 June 1997.

Meeting all the benchmarks set by the council , DT Cinemas cleared the H&S management system audit including Safety Organization, Management Control Systems, Emergency Control Systems, Accident/Incident/Near Miss reporting & Workplace Safety Implementation and won the certificate which stands valid till April 2014.
