Doordarshan Regional services to be shifted to a new satellite

New Delhi: Doordarshan Regional services, presently running on INSAT-3A, will be shifted to INSAT-4B w.e.f 10.12.2015; in view of End of Life (EOL) of INSAT-3A as declared by ISRO. For this purpose four new transponders on INSAT-4B have been allotted by ISRO. Due to this shift, Doordarshan regional services will remain off air from 00:00 to 05:00 hrs on 10.12.2015.
